PrimeWater Multi-User Panel Stakeholder Week
Date: 18 November 2021 8:00 am GMT
PrimeWater is an Horizon2020 funded research project that generates information on the effects of upstream changes on future water quality and quantity. Building on advanced Earth-Observation data products, integration with additional data sources and diagnostic modelling tools, public and private sector decisions for water resources management are provided with better and actionable information.
The purpose of the MUP is to serve as an international panel of users providing expert feedback on EO-enabled services developed or extended in the context of the PrimeWater project and participate in the co-generation process itself through dialogue.
This MUP meeting will take place from 15 -19 November as ‘Stakeholders week’ with participants from the following sectors:
- Disaster risk management
- Amenity / Recreation
- Aquaculture
- Water resource management
- Potable water production
- Energy
Open Hydro’s Director Cristina Diez will give a presentation on Importance of water quality data for tackling climate change in the hydropower sector as part of the Energy Sector Workshop on 18 November.
